Bishop Steven R. White, Sr. is the Senior Pastor of Higher Ground Global located in Cincinnati, OH.
With the guidance of his spiritual parents, Apostle Wayne T. Jackson and Dr. Beverly Y. Jackson, Bishop White began ministering to lost souls at the Jackson’s church (Great Faith Ministries International in Detroit, Michigan). He has a passion for sharing the message of God’s love and forgiveness to unsaved souls, to lead sinners to God, and to compassionately bring people who feel lost, back to God.
Shortly after relocating from Detroit, Michigan to Cincinnati, Ohio, Higher Ground Global was birthed in 1998, during Bishop White’s time of worship and prayer. Bishop White collaborated on his vision with Apostle Wayne T. & Dr. Beverly Y. Jackson. As a result, Bishop Steven R. White Sr. was consecrated, ordained, and released into the five-fold function Office of Pastor. On August 1, 2009, Apostle Wayne T. Jackson and Dr. Beverly Y. Jackson elected, then Bishop-Elect Steven R. White, to Bishop Steven R. White.
Bishop White’s preaching, teaching, and leading, has a powerful impact on countless individuals and families across the United States, and even several countries. Bishop White works in his purpose every week, speaking life, and being used by God prophetically. Many have been set free from sickness and disease, marriages have been restored, poverty has been broken and lives have been changed for the good. Bishop White will always respond, "To God Be the Glory!"
Bishop White is a graduate of the School of Prophets, and is active in annual networking and impartation events with other ministries around the world. Bishop White is the founder of Steven R. White Ministries, which is his nationally recognized media brand that broadcasts demonstrations of the power of God to the world.
Additionally, Bishop White is a nationally recognized recording artist, and released his debut prophetic album entitled, "According To Your Faith" in 2006.
Bishop White is joyously married to Pastor Adrienne D. White and has four children, Carmelita, Steven II, Lundon, Lourdes, and one grandchild, Caleb. Bishop White is dedicated and devoted to his family.
